A National Science Digital Library (NSDL) intends to be a comprehensive source for science, technology, engineering & maths education.

A NSDL occurs as digital library of exemplary resource collections & services, organized around trend lines of science education the least bit levels. Starting using the partnership of NSDL-funded projects, NSDL is emerging every bit the center of innovatiin inside digital libraries as applied to education, & a civic center for groups focussed on digital-library-enabled science education.

NSDL projects come funded per National Science Foundation.

Center for the Study of Digital Libraries
Established in 1995 at Texas A&M University and builds upon research developed in the Hypermedia Research Laboratory established in 1987. Includes research, publications, events and course information.

Technical Advisory Service for Images (TASI)
Supports the academic community on the creation, storage and delivery of image-related information, and also offers digitisation advice.

Digital Libraries Initiative Phase 2 (DLI2)
Resources and projects funded by the National Science Foundation.

Cornell Institute for Digital Collections (CIDC)
Established to explore technologies and the building of digital collections to expand access to and use of cultural and scientific sources on campus and globally. List of current image collections and projects, services and events offered, overview of lab facilities, history and organization, publications, and news media citations included.

Parity Computing
Communications company based in San Diego, focused on digital library technologies including complete turn-key solutions and customized services. Main clients include IEEE, Springer-Verlag, and ACM.

Palo Alto Research Centre (PARC)
Information Sciences and Technologies Laboratory. Project areas include Human-Document Interaction (HDI), Natural Language Theory and Technology (NLTT), Quantitative Content Analysis, Sparrow Web, Statistical Pattern and Image Analysis, and User Interface Research. Site includes internship and employment information as well as full project information and activities.

DLib Forum and DLib Magazine
